For many, visiting Havana for the
second time, the Don Eduardo Alegre is a place that will be
visited again. The stylish café occupies the upper floor of a
restored colonial mansion.
Even though the round tables on the
balcony that are squeezed on little space in contrary to the
comfortable lounge sofas inside, the shady balcony with a
perfect view of the Plaza Vieja is preferred for lunch more than
inside. The terrace has brass balcony railing. The minimalist
decoration characterized by clean lines dominates the interior.
The bar with the magenta decor and smart lighting proves a fine
taste.
For a late
breakfast, your best choices are crepes, fruit shakes and light
lunch dishes, but the main attraction of the tapas bar is the
long list of cocktails. The service is of high quality.
