The Central Havana, colloquially called as Centro, is a transition zone between the Old City and Vedado. While the city grew to west, the Central Havana was neglected a little bit.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! Some of Havana's best restaurants are found in this area. If you want to sit at any café at the Malecón and enjoy the ocean view, you can find such a place only in Central Havana. Another interesting feature of this region is the Chinatown of Havana.
