Although it is quite far from the city center, Marea can be visited even just to sip delicious cocktails while watching the sunset, as it has a spectacular, unobstructed sea view, making it one of the few fine dining spots in Havana with such a feature.

Marea is the only restaurant in Havana with its own private beach. Do not forget to make a reservation before taking your swimsuit with you to swim in the artificial beach, it is chargeable (20 CUC).

Because of the chill out music, stunning location and a beautiful sunset view, Marea is also an ideal romantic date place.

The menu features a mixture of Spanish and French seafood cuisine, with dishes such as ceviche, fried lobster, and paella. There's no point in recommending anything on the menu, because everything served here as seafood is extremely fresh and well prepared. The cocktails are fantastic, with options such as soft drinks (daiquiri, piña colada etc.) and a good selection of wines.

The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. The interior design and ambiance of the place are well-maintained. The restaurant has two floors. You have to be early to reserve a place on the upper floor.
