Nao Bar Paladar

Nao Bar Restaurant occupies a 200-year-old building located in a quiet narrow alley close to the seashore. The original wooden beams and Arabic arches with exposed bricks are good preserved. Nao originates from the Latin word navis that means ship. Consequently, the decor imitates an 18th century galleon. You can prefer upstairs for dinners. The space is small, but the atmosphere is cozy and intimate. The bar is downstairs. If you want to take only snack with a cocktail or just beer, the outdoor seating is more convenient, as is an ideal place to enjoy the breeze off the bay and some shade. Food is traditional Cuban cuisine. The seafood dominates in the menu, but the specialty of the paladar is baby pork, roasted in the subterranean oven (Lechón Asado). The giant mermaid lobster or octopus is recommended. You can try also the shrimp taco. If you need only snack, try the Serrano ham baguette. They have also a live band, Legendario Habana, that plays Cuban music every day.
