The paladar Vistamar is located in the courtyard of a residence that was built by the renowned architect Miguel Gastón at the seashore in Miramar in the 1950s.
The restaurant has an interior salon, a terrace that has an uninterrupted view of the ocean and a recently renovated pool. Vistamar is open since more than 20 years and has gained great popularity among the paladars of Havana, not only because it is an open, airy place that gives a spacious feeling, but also because it is a place where you can taste the delicious seafood.
The menu is quite large including a wide range of soups,
starters including several seafood treats and mains particularly
including fresh fish. Recommended mains are grilled fish of the
day (mostly snapper) served with aioli and pesto sauces,
octopus, lobster and ceviche. You can try also pork chops. Don’t
miss the lemon pie. It is recommended to go there at the sunset
for the excellent ocean view.
The food is upmarket; the service is
competent.
