The Statue of Che Holding a Child

The life-size statue of Ernesto Che Guevara, located in front of the Provincial headquarters of the Communist Party of Cuba in Santa Clara, was erected to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Hero's death.

It is the work of Basque artist Castro Solana.

Che points to future generations with the child he carries in his left arm.

The statue of Che holding a child is on the Avenida Liberación, approximately 450 meters northeast of Monumento of the Assault on the Armored Train.
