Habanos S.A. is the arm of the Cuban state tobacco company, Cubatabaco, that controls the promotion, distribution, and export of Cuban cigars and other tobacco products worldwide. Habanos S.A. owns the trademarks of every brand of Cuban-made cigars and cigarettes in the countries they are exported to and franchises the Casa del Habano chain of cigar stores.

Habanos S.A. has several  Casa del Habano’s in the country, where you can relax and enjoy your smoke. The Casa del Habano on the 5th Avenue was the first high-end cigar store in Cuba when it opened its doors in 1990. Although there are multiple cigar stores across Havana, the Casa del Habano on the 5th Avenue has several advantages that the visitors  should take account in their preference, when they want to visit any cigar shop. First, it is quieter, because it is outside of regular tourist environment. Second, it has a good cigar lounge where you can taste your brand, and a working humidor that you will need, when you make a pause in smoking. Third, the staff is expert in all kind of cigar brands.
